Insurance Coverage
Many patients come to us as a referral from a physician for relief from pain as a result of an Auto Accident or from working too much or playing too hard. Nearly all auto accident and workers compensation insurance (and some health insurance) will pay for massage therapy. We are always happy to check with your carrier to confirm coverage for massage and, if so, we will bill it for you.

Health Benefits
In addition to reducing stress, muscle soreness and pain in the body, massage offers additional health benefits: reducing fluid retention, increasing circulation of both blood and lymph fluid systems, promoting healthier skin, strengthening the immune system, increasing range of motion and enhancing self image are to name a few.

Your Treatment Plan
To determine the best treatment for you, Gail will assess your problem area, perhaps by gently feeling for tenderness, looking at your posture or checking for restricted or painful movements. If you have a prescription or medical referral, your general health and present condition will be discussed before treatment begins.

As a rule, massage therapy clears the way for rapid results. Healing is a process which takes time and depends on many individual factors.

Treatment sessions begin with an initial consultation and a short therapeutic massage. The following treatment sessions will be from 45 minutes to one hour.
